Aimee Togher
She/Her
My name's Aimee and I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma aged 22. As someone who has personally experienced cancer, I bring not only professional insight from my role as Clinical Operations Coordinator, but also a personal understanding of the emotional, physical and systemic challenges that come with a diagnosis.
I believe that real, lasting change in cancer care comes from listening to and acting on the voices of those who've lived it. I've experienced firsthand the importance of patient empowerment and building a supportive community, and just how transformative this can be.
In my spare time I also volunteer for Flynne's Barn, a charity offering residential stays for the young cancer community. I'm passionate about helping shape services that truly reflect the needs of those affected by cancer, and I see this as a powerful channel for doing just that.
