Ayley Crawford

I’m joining the North Star Cancer Collective’s Lived Experience Advisory and Action Group because I want to use my own journey to help shape better support for others going through cancer. Having experienced the challenges and uncertainty firsthand, I understand how important it is for people to feel heard, understood, and supported.

I bring resilience, empathy, kindness, compassion, and care—qualities that have grown even stronger through my experience. I hope to use these to contribute thoughtfully and honestly to the group, helping create services and approaches that reflect the real needs of patients and their families.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to turn something difficult into something positive and to help make a meaningful difference for others.
